This is definitely another one of Susan Furlong's amazing stories. If you read her book last year "Peaches and Screams" you are going to love this one as well. The setting for this book is wonderful. I will commend Susan for keeping the same characters and the peach theme. In some book series, the author will change the setting book to book and the characters as well. This story starts out on a good note. That was very thoughtful to start out in a clothing boutique and base the murder on it. I really liked that. Also, something you don't suspect while you are reading is the part with the reverend's wife, Maggie. That part will catch you by surprise. You are not expecting that to happen. The way Susan ties the clothing boutique and the reverend's wife scenes together is fantastic. This will definitely leave the reader at the edge of their seats waiting to see what happens next. That is the way a book like this needs to be, and Susan delivers that perfectly. With these two events it leaves Nola Mae really in a peachy situation, trying to find the rotten peach in the bushel. All of her hard work pays off at the end when she discovers who the murderer is. I would recommend picking up a copy of this new book. You will not regret it, I promise!
