If you have been following this series, you are going to love this book too. If you have never read this series I encourage you to pick up a copy of this book. I promise you will not be disappointed. Here you have a murder, but it is none like you have ever thought about. It is a very clever idea by the author for the setting of this murder. This is what you will thoroughly enjoy. I like the part where it takes Lila and the staff at Novel Idea to solve this murder. Now that is teamwork even though it has put a little damper on the wedding expo. Then you have a robbery at the local coffee shop that puts the icing on the cake to solving this murder. Then it blends in a wedding for Lila. That is what I like about this book. You have these series of events that ties one another together. Lucy really knows how to tie all of it together. Unlike some book series the characters change from book to book. I will commend this series. The author has stayed with the same setting and the same characters. I love that in a book series. What is sad when you get to the last chapter in the book. I thought I want to read some more. This book is very impressive. If you don't pick you up a copy of this, there is something wrong with you and you don't know a good story when you see it.

Peaches and Screams
Let me say first and foremost, Susan Furlong outdid herself on this book. This book is fantastic. This book has a wonderful setting. Who doesn't like a peach orchard and a murder all wrapped between cover to cover? That is a recipe for a fantastic story. It is very addictive. Once you start reading it is hard to put it down. Nola has to step in and try to keep her family orchard despite all of the small-town gossip spreading around Cays Mill. She digs through the pits to try to save her reputation. This story will leave the reader very satisfied and hungry for me especially when you reach the last paragraph in the last chapter. When I reached the last part of the book, I had a hunger for more. I'm excited to see what the revealing of the next book in the series has to foretell. I'm giving this book a 5 peachy stars for excellent. I would definitely recommend purchasing this book. You will not regret it!
Rest in Peach
This is definitely another one of Susan Furlong's amazing stories. If you read her book last year "Peaches and Screams" you are going to love this one as well. The setting for this book is wonderful. I will commend Susan for keeping the same characters and the peach theme. In some book series, the author will change the setting book to book and the characters as well. This story starts out on a good note. That was very thoughtful to start out in a clothing boutique and base the murder on it. I really liked that. Also, something you don't suspect while you are reading is the part with the reverend's wife, Maggie. That part will catch you by surprise. You are not expecting that to happen. The way Susan ties the clothing boutique and the reverend's wife scenes together is fantastic. This will definitely leave the reader at the edge of their seats waiting to see what happens next. That is the way a book like this needs to be, and Susan delivers that perfectly. With these two events it leaves Nola Mae really in a peachy situation, trying to find the rotten peach in the bushel. All of her hard work pays off at the end when she discovers who the murderer is. I would recommend picking up a copy of this new book. You will not regret it, I promise!
Priced to Kill
With this the very first book I have read by this author, I'm really impressed. The setting of the story is excellent. It starts out just a ordinary real estate opportunity, then it quickly turns into a murder. Catherine really knows how to blend it together. What I thought was clever, It started out as a suicide, but quickly turns to a murder. That part will sure keep the reader very interested and on their toes to see what happens next. That is the makings of a good mystery, in my book. Then it gets interesting throughout the book, with a shooting, then a pregnancy. That will keep you longing for more as you read this book. Then the ending part is very good, when Greg finally learns the news of their baby. With an ending like that, it will kind of make you sad that it is the ending of the book. In the future I will definitely be reading more of this authors books, as well as I would recommend you picking up you a copy of this book. I think you are going to enjoy it!
